Five (5) Buddhist Keys for Building Happiness.
Five (5) Buddhist Keys for Building Happiness.
1. Happiness begins with a vow.
2. Happiness is overcoming unhappiness.
3. The solution to your problems lies within.
4. Don't compare yourself with others.
5. Be in the here and now.
by Shin Yatomi.
The First Key: Happiness begins with a vow.
Do you have a despotic boss who is unhappy no matter what you do?
The reason why most tyrants are unhappy is that they are waiting for someone else to please them while they themselves do nothing but make demands. Happiness served on a silver platter turns sour after a few bites. Nichiren Buddhism explains that we begin and continue the quest for happiness of oneself and others by making a personal vow and renewing it every day. Each person must create his or her own happiness. Waiting for happiness is a formula for unhappiness. Happiness is born of action.
The Second Key: Happiness is overcoming unhappiness.
Happiness is not an absence of problems, and the presence of problems does not mean unhappiness. Nichiren Buddhism explains that genuine happiness lies in overcoming difficulties. The important thing is to learn how to face our problems, not how to avoid them. Through the practice of Nichiren Buddhism, we can transform meaningless sufferings into meaningful challenges.
The Third Key: The solution to your problem lies within.
It is always tempting to blame our environment for our suffering through our delusions and that we can overcome our suffering by manifesting our innate Buddha nature. It is a common myth that we will become happy when we acquire pleasurable things or meet someone wonderful. But the truth is that when we are happy, we can truly enjoy the niceties of life or good companionship. This is a Copernican change in our view of happiness. Put simply, we are the cause and the solution to our problems, and genuine happiness must be created from within. To realize this is to free ourselves from being a victim of circumstances. Being a victim is easy, but it doesn't make us happy.
The Fourth Key: Don't compare yourself with others.
We are trained by society to compare ourselves with others, to see our lives through the eyes of others. Over the years, we've learned to feel superior to the less fortunate and disparage ourselves when we are with the more fortunate - restlessly vacillating between arrogance and self-disparagement depending on our circumstances. Nichiren Buddhism, however, teaches us how to build a stronger self that need not seek the reference of its worth outside. Nichiren Buddhism encourages us to bring forth our unique quality that cannot be compared with anything else. Each person has a unique set of karmic circumstances and - by challenging them - can make unique contributions to the world. Our karmic suffering can be transformed into our precious mission in life. With this awareness, we can change arrogance into appreciation, self-disparagement into true confidence.
The Fifth Key: Be in the here and now.
We sometimes dwell in resentment and regret about our past: 'Because that horrible thing happened to me, I cannot be happy.' At other times, we are preoccupied with worries about our future: 'What if my relationship doesn't work out?' Nichiren Buddhism teaches that the present moment contains all the past and the future. In other words, by challenging our present state of existence, we can transform resentment and regret into appreciation for our past. Of course, we cannot undo our past, but - by developing a strong state of life Now - we can change the meaning our past holds for us and change worries into hopes. Nichiren Buddhism also teaches that we cannot create happiness simply by moving from one place to another. What's most important is to change our inner state of being where we are. Put simply, Nichiren Buddhism shows us how to create happiness in the past (appreciation), in the present (fulfillment) and in the future (hope) by challenging our lives in the here and now.

Economists traditionally use gross domestic product (GDP) to measure economic progress. If GDP is rising, the economy is in good shape, and the nation is moving forward. If GDP is falling, the economy is in trouble, and the nation is losing ground.
Indian economy or GDP expanded at lower-than-expected 5% year on year in the April-June quarter, the slowest in over six years, driven by weak investment growth and sluggish demand. ... Slowdown in growth due to endogenous and exogenous factors, said Chief Economic Adviser K.V. Subramanian after GDP data release.Aug 30, 2019
The country's GDP grew at a modest 4.5% in the September quarter, official data released
Nov. 29 showed. This marks the sixth straight fall in quarterly GDP growth and also the first time in almost seven years that it has fallen below the psychologically important 5% mark.

According to the International Labour Organization (ILO) – a United Nations agency, unemployment is rising in India and the "unemployment rate in the country [India] will stand at 3.5 percent in 2018 and 2019 – the same level of unemployment seen in 2017 and 2016".
India's unemployment rate in the month of October jumped to 8.5 per cent, which is the highest in over three years.
In the last few years, gross NPAs of banks (as a percentage of total loans) have increased from 2.3% of total loans in 2008 to 9.3% in 2017 (Figure 1). This indicates that an increasing proportion of a bank’s assets have ceased to generate income for the bank, lowering the bank’s profitability and its ability to grant further credit.
The FDI performance of India over the last few years has also not been inspiring in terms of the destination of investment. In 2018, India dropped out of the top 10 destinations for FDI on the AT Kearney FDI Confidence Index for the first time since 2015. This came at a time when other comparable economies were doing relatively well — Southeast Asian economies saw FDI increase in 2018 by 11 per cent.
Government’s much-hyped ‘Make in India’ has failed to create jobs across sectors. In fact, a top corporate honcho has even declared that India is “exporting more jobs than goods”, as of now.
Six years after it was introduced, the 'none of the above' or NOTA option is beginning to increasingly count in elections in the country.
In the recent assembly election in Maharashtra, the number of voters choosing NOTA in Latur (Rural) and Palus-Kadegaon constituencies was second only to those who backed the winning candidates. In Haryana, there was one assembly seat, Thanesar, where the victory margin was less than the votes cast for NOTA.
Indian economy crying for reforms.

Life Sometimes
Life is not what we want,
Life is not about what we can have ,
Life is about what we have.
Sometimes it's difficult to differentiate between our dreams and goals, desire and needs, expectations and responsibilities.
There is nothing like "perfect".
Mind analysis too much, decision get delayed, miss the opportunity.
Consequences of our action becomes mistakes, when we take decision but timing gets wrong.
Once a moment passed away it becomes memory.

We Are Not Slaves
You
only see what your eyes want to see
How can life be what you want it to be
You're frozen
When your heart's not open
You're so consumed with how much you get
You waste your time with hate and regret
You're broken
When your heart's not open
These were some lines from song Frozen I really love these lines.
Why 2014 Is being so important..
For elections..
I think elections are held for welfare of common man... but to whom they should vote because there is no one in any political party who is heart winner of people of India.
I think we should revolt this election for the benefit of whole country..
Because of this move by common people there would be an explosion in all political parties.. whether it is ruling or in any kind of opposition ..
This would be a straight message that would define, we are now fed up of all their lucrative speeches just before an election...
Now we know our rights we should revolt .. we must ask for solutions not for speech..
We have to become demanding ... we are not slaves ..
They should clear all the matters related to coal, adarsh, Lok pal Bill, Black money and many more before elections.
The government is playing mind games with people ..
They have imposed such inflation that common man dont think else other than earning and saving,
Whenever he open news or paper always negative vibration flows.. whenever he goes to market he first swap his card from atm machine to purchase daily vegetables... due to all these and after whole day hard work he cant ever think about what is going in this politics ... our rights our getting buried by them every time and we are becoming slaves gradually and they are ...... dictators.
For an examples why people drink, maximum drink because of tension or because there is nothing to do any thing else, or some drink because they want to sleep free, so they get hallucinated by alcohol move away from reality. But truth is different we are not willing to face the situation, and why should we as they dont want us to face.
You only think, one man having no problems living in a world, where there is all things are in his budget, whenever he opens a news paper he will find good news, where he can believe that he can get justice, he is aware of all rights and also getting benefits. If his savings are secure and income is stable, will he end his day with a fight or buy something usefull instead of wasting money on alcohol.
This can be possible but who cares, let it go we can shout some time, abuse and return to that never ending vicious circle.
sorry India is losing its Identity of being democratic.
If we want to live in India like Indians we should follow democracy and make ourselves and others, aware of there rights and freedom. And we should demand for our rights and if needed we must protest against wrong policies and hazardous decisions of government. Government should be in a position of giving explanation to their decisions and strategies at any time when asked or not asked.

"The government on Friday said
in the Rajya Sabha that seven files, 173 applications and nine other documents
pertaining to coal block allocations were not
traceable and efforts were on to locate them."
This news was really shocking and
makes
me angry." Teacher teacher my text book is lost so i couldn't completed
my homework", this was used by me when I was in primary. But is it
acceptable, I think the water is crossing all limits and it is height,
they are playing with our emotions. ALL know the truth, we just want the
solution but they are beating the bush around, they just want to pass
time and waiting for that time when every thing will go in air and
remains nothing, But if they get success in this that will proof we are
SLAVES and not common people who is carrying loads and loads of
expectation and get nothing. Some people end their day with a fight in home, some end their day drinking alcohol.... but both are simply wasting their life and energy.

About My Self
My name is
Rohan, my full name is Rohan Dilip Pashine born in India, Maharashtra, Nagpur.
I love India and believe in one thing that is nature. Whatever occupation I am
in I will always want to do something for the welfare of the society.
I also believe that every materialistic problem can have a spiritual solution. I also believe in the almighty power GOD, but I have a different view that represents GOD for me. I also believe in the most ancient and scientific holy book that is GEETA..
I love my family of MAA and PAPA. My passion is to do something that will make my parents proud of me.
I am inspired by many things; there is no particular person or incident, as such. By the way I take some good points from everywhere. My first inspiration is GEETA……
Now for those who do not know about "Bhagwat Gita".
“In our day to day life, whether you are working for an organization or are doing your own business or are responsible for your household work, the most common thing many times is that you get depressed while doing your work. Depressed employees in any organization are a common sight. Dejected employees, depressed employees, unmotivated employees, desolate employees, morose looking employees are very harmful to any organization as they not only decrease the productivity but they also create an atmosphere in which other colleagues may also feel de-motivated & dejected. Similarly if you run your own business & remain depressed while doing your work, certainly you shall not achieve that much in your business if you would have been highly motivated & energetic.
Now, De-motivation, Depression, Dejection, Desolation all these D-words relates to your mind or relate to your mental position. It's only your MIND that gets depressed, dejected. You may be physically fit with blood oozing in your nerves, but if you are not well with your MIND then you are certainly not going to perform to your full potential. Mental health is where the key to success lies. If you are mentally supercharged then you can achieve any milestone in spite of having any physical inadequacy.
Now, how to get out of this Depression, De-motivation & how to increase the productivity at work is where the great teachings of "Bhagwat Gita" come into play.
Bhagwat Gita teaches about "Mind Control". Mind is
that makes the personality of a person. De-motivated mind makes a person
depressed one & a motivated one makes a person cheerful. If one's mind is
in one's control & he/she can concentrate deeply on one's work, then that
person can do wonders at work. Mind is very powerful one & to control it,
to keep it in one's control is very difficult. It just wanders like wind here
& there & it takes enough of self-discipline & practice of
meditation to control it, to get it concentrated on any job or activity.”
I believe
in love and kindness. I am practical and
open minded, but at the same time emotional too. I get short tempered some times,
but keeping my self, happy and also entertaining others is one of my quality. I
can say that I have a good sense of humour. I know happiness come from heart,
and I believe it is in my case.
Some
general things that I love
Cooking, I
can make food items like pasta, Indian, Italian, and so on. Many times I cook
for myself and also for others, sometimes get involved in it. I am also a good
food lover, ready to taste different variety and spices. I am always eager to know
the recipe behind the food preparation. Though I love Indian food, I am fan of Chinese food, specially noodles, and Manchurian. I never waste food and
never say bad to any preparation I always respect food, as my mom say whatever
you do you do for food, so never insult FOOD.
Another
thing I like is cricket = cricket is most important thing in my life. I love
watching and playing cricket. I can relate any topics to cricket and
explain things, giving example of cricket. I believe cricket is a team work, make you understand many things, it tells how to be calm and have patience, how
to maintain stamina for long duration, taking good decision in such a hard
work, maintaining the tempo, presence of mind and most important thing is that
playing on your strength. My favourite player is Sachin Tendulkar … I love his
game.
I am fan of
cinemas, I love watching good movies, I also analyse movies, sometimes behave
like a critic. I always get disappointed after watching a worthless film, I don’t
know why people waste precious time and hard to earn "money", making those films. I love every good film. Sometimes
emotions , practical, action, full drama movie. My favourite director is Abbas
and mastan, I also love films of Raj Kapoor. Though my favourite hero is Salman
Khan, I was also fan of Sunny Deol, and his film Ghayal. In Hollywood Jim
Carry and Tom Hanks are my favourites.
I also love
listening music, Any good music I love. Soft and meaningful mostly preferred.
I also like
to make stories, write small songs or poems you can say.
I don’t watch
too much TV, but for news, cricket and sometimes movies, I really hate stupid serials.
Video games
or computer games always fascinate me. My favourite video game is Prince of Persia,
and the biggest time pass is Cricket.
Hanging out
with friends, and discussing about current affairs with them is must for me. I
always maintain friendship and also believe in friendship and trust.
I like
girls with simplicity in nature and dressing, but having wide view in the
society and also practical with possitive thinking. Now day’s girls believe in
fashion and gossiping bullshit, materialistic. I like girl with shy and sweet
and simple.
I have work
in plenty of places for short terms, like, sales, marketing, in dispensary, small insurance
agent, and many but on small pay scale.
Then in
2010 I was joined with the café and restaurant, the chocolate room working as a
manger, though I was already interested in food from there it boosted. It was
great experience, learned plenty of things.
Now recently I have started own business of placement consultancy. Slowly it is coming in flow.
Now recently I have started own business of placement consultancy. Slowly it is coming in flow.
There are
many things I believe that I should discuss it with people, about society,
about necessity, about humanity, evils, what to do and what not to do. For this
I switch to this medium so that people can read me and give positive comments. My
ideas may be accepted, may be rejected, and may be corrected.
I never
poke in any ones private arena just to make gossip out of it and never discuss
bull shits. One can trust me as I never share things all around unnecessarily.
I am still waiting
for one, who will love me and hold my hand for the rest of my life, that proofs
I am single.
About my
life, it’s not an open book and plenty of things are there to tell, but, I
think, this brief introduction is enough.
By the way,
Rondy is my name,
rocking is my style,
thats why ... rondy the rock.
By the way,
